Pattern and Sample Making Los Angeles

Sample and Pattern Making in Los Angeles

Whether you are a first-time, or seasoned designer, our TEG Development Packages give you all the tools you need to successfully budget and plan the launch of your line.  Our vertically-integrated studios in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Barcelona, allow designers from all-over the globe a chance to work hands-on with our team, or remotely with the studio most appropriate to the task.

The TEG Los Angeles studio is situated in the Arts District of downtown Los Angeles and is acclaimed for its open loft-like feel, providing an inspiring space and exceptional work environment for our team and clients.  Clients are greeted at the Sample Bar, by the Client Development Manager, where projects are mapped out interactively.  A dedicated Project Manager is assigned to each client, allowing a direct point of contact from start to finish.

Pattern Makers work in tandem with Sample Makers in the studio, ensuring the highest level of quality to our clients.  Fittings are held on-site, providing privacy for our client’s designs and direct communication with our entire team.  Shop dog and mascot Jack Evans is often on-hand, lending his support to the team and visitors, further adding to the welcoming atmosphere.  The Los Angeles studio provides an ideal setting for designers within Los Angeles, or hailing from far-away places to work with our specialized team.

Services

In-house development services range from making patterns and samples for the runway or showroom, to filling small volume production orders under 50 pieces per style.  All in-house work is done by our team of expertly-skilled craftsmen working together in a vertically-integrated manner.  Work is completed on a contractual-basis, with all pricing and turnaround times agreed-upon prior to commencing work.  Clients are assigned a Project Manager at the start of their project, who works side-by-side with them on the logistics of their project, and a Patternmaker who works on the execution of the project.  All team members are exceptionally experienced, and are pleased to share their expertise with clients, answering questions throughout the process. It is our goal to provide an inspiring and friendly atmosphere for the designer, while offering the highest quality in the industry.

Background

Starting in a shipping container in Laguna Beach as The Evans Group, back in 2005, Jennifer began seeking out the highest-skilled seamstresses, cutters, and pattern makers around to form her team with.  This team has solidified a process and camaraderie that has provided over 750 designers with exceptional quality and service.

Fast-forward 10 years and many of those same craftsmen still work with Jennifer, along with new craftsmen with skills matching their colleagues, approaching each new project with the same intensity for quality and craftsmanship as the first.  These teams work in TEG's Los Angeles and San Francisco locations, providing local designers with what is known as the best quality in town.
