Pattern and Sample Making San Francisco

Pattern and Sample Making in San Francisco

Whether you are a first-time, or seasoned designer, our TEG Development Packages give you all the tools you need to successfully budget and plan the launch of your line.  Our vertically-integrated studios in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Barcelona, allow designers from all-over the globe a chance to work hands-on with our team, or remotely with the studio most appropriate to the task.

At TEG San Francisco, we offer full-service development packages for Bay Area designers, in a beautiful vertically-integrated studio situated on historic Market Street in the heart of San Francisco.  The fish bowl like studio provides endless inspiration for clients and our team alike, right in the middle of the City.  There is an inviting meeting area, where the pattern makers plan out each project directly with clients, and a natural light filled fitting area for careful viewing of collections.

All garments are sewn by seasoned year-round, full-time employees, allowing the highest level of quality to be found.  These highly-skilled pattern makers and sample makers work in tandem from start-to-finish, and are capable of handling the most complex or challenging projects.  Most of our in-house team have worked together for many years and all regard their sewing as their craft, taking each project into special consideration.

Patternmaking Services

In-house development services range from making patterns and samples for the runway or showroom, to filling small volume production orders under 10 pieces per style.  All in-house work is done by our team of expertly-skilled craftsmen working together in a vertically-integrated manner.  Work is completed on a contractual-basis, with all pricing and turnaround times agreed-upon prior to commencing work.

Clients are assigned a Project Manager at the start of their project, who works side-by-side with them on the logistics of their project, and a Patternmaker who works with them on the execution of the project.  All team members are exceptionally experienced, and are pleased to share their expertise with clients, answering questions throughout the process. It is our goal to provide an inspiring and friendly atmosphere for the designer, while offering the highest quality in the industry.

Background

Starting in a shipping container in Laguna Beach as The Evans Group, back in 2005, Jennifer began seeking out the highest-skilled seamstresses, cutters, and pattern makers around to form her team with.  This team has solidified a process and camaraderie that has provided over 800 designers with exceptional quality and service.

Fast-forward 10 years and many of those same craftsmen still work with Jennifer, along with new craftsmen with skills matching their colleagues, approaching each new project with the same intensity for quality and craftsmanship as the first.  These teams work in TEG's Los Angeles and San Francisco locations, providing local designers with what is known as the best quality in town.
